Kelsey Newcome
MA, APC
Associate Professional Counselor
Kelsey specializes in working with teenagers, particularly those struggling with self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and eating disorders.
Kelsey is also passionate about supporting couples as they navigate intimacy challenges, communication breakdowns, and emotional disconnection.
Kelsey provides treatment for eating disorders across the full spectrum—including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and other disordered eating behaviors. She works with clients to explore the emotional, cognitive, and sensory components of their relationship with food and body image. Her approach is weight-inclusive, neurodivergence-affirming, and grounded in both clinical training and compassion, aiming to help clients rebuild trust in their bodies and reclaim a sense of balance and safety around eating.
As a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, Kelsey offers affirming, neurodivergence-informed care for clients with autism and ADHD. Her work centers on understanding the unique ways neurodivergence impacts emotional regulation, social interaction, executive functioning, and sensory processing. Kelsey aims to provide a safe, validating space where clients can unmask, self-advocate, and thrive in alignment with their authentic selves.
In addition, Kelsey is trained in sex therapy and support individuals and couples in addressing concerns related to intimacy, desire, sexual identity, and relational dynamics. Kelsey approaches this work with openness, clinical knowledge, and deep respect for the vulnerability these conversations often require. Kelsey also supports individuals managing anxiety-related disorders, including generalized anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, phobias, and PTSD. Her work is rooted in collaboration, respect, and a deep belief in each client’s capacity for healing and growth.
