Erin Nash

MA, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor

Erin has experience working with individuals of all ages in both one-on-one and group settings, but she especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. Erin enjoys helping her clients navigate difficult emotions, anxieties and fears, and friendship & relationship dynamics while helping equip them with new solutions and ideas to successfully move through this {super fun but often complicated] stage of life.

Her professional interests include spirituality and prayer, stress and anxiety management, identity issues, body image and exercise addiction, self-care, and self-esteem. When working with adolescents and young adults, Erin is passionate about academic concerns, bullying & rejection, peer relations, self-confidence, and difficulty coping with emotions. Erin believes that transformation is possible through open and honest communication paired with a calm environment which is fostered through a warm counselor-client relationship full of trust and genuine care.

Working With Erin

Erin works from an integrative theoretical orientation with a focus in both person-centered theory and a strengths-based approach. It is Erin’s belief that clients know themselves best, and therefore, she strives to work collaboratively with her clients to focus on individual strengths and unique personal attributes to navigate through life’s difficulties. Using a counseling approach that combines both a Christian worldview and sound clinical treatment, Erin’s deepest desire is for her clients’ hearts to be fully known and seen. It is Erin’s belief that hope instilled into a heart can bring life change. She brings authenticity, kindness, joy, and acceptance into her work as a counselor and strives to create a safe place of refuge for her clients to share their stories.

Erin holds a B.S. in Psychology, an M.S. in Clinical Counseling, and an Ed.S in School Psychology. She has previous experience providing clinical mental health services in both residential and outpatient therapy settings. Prior to becoming a counselor, Erin worked in the schools as a school psychologist conducting assessments and treatment plans, helping to create classroom interventions, and facilitating group work. Erin also has 8 years of experience working in ministry as the Care Ministry Director where she helped connect individuals to community resources, provided care and mentoring to the congregation and staff, and sought to bring healing and hope to the community. She currently also works as a school counselor in the Coweta County School System, where she serves students in grades 6-8.

Outside of the clinical world, Erin cherishes time spent with her husband and two children, appreciates the benefits of exercise and long-distance running, and enjoys baking sweets, reading Christian living books, and spending time in the sunshine.
