Crystal is passionate about her family, her faith, and her desire to help others become free from guilt and shame. When she was introduced to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy in 2014, she became convinced that traumatic memories did not have to shape the future for so many who suffer.  Instead, Crystal discovered that the simple change of perspective could unveil one’s potential, crush guilt and shame, and more importantly cultivate feelings of compassion, peace and acceptance. It has been her mission to use the gifts and talents she has been given to aid others in establishing healthy boundaries, build better communication, and highlight the personal strengths of those she counsels. She is convinced that there is no greater reward than to witness the transformation that occurs when one is truly set free from the chains of unprocessed pain. Crystal received her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Carson-Newman University in 2004. After a few years spent working in the corporate world, Crystal felt called to pursue a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University where graduated with her MA in 2013.  Crystal specializes in working with adults and adolescents who struggle with unresolved trauma and/or negative emotions from painful life experiences, anxiety, depression, substance abuse/addiction, VA Veterans, as well as those who are seeking direction and change for their life.
